Celebration of Light at English Bay Vancouver. Tribute to China show fires up the sky after the evening had a short rain storm after a hot sunny day. Early crowds and clips from the fireworks by Pyro Team who did a really nice job. Cameras: GoPro Hero HD in r2 mode (16×9 720p) on a monopod without its housing using a special holder camera person Butch (David Silvercloud) made. Rain: Pentax Optio W90 waterproof camera. Fireworks with a Samsung WB500 open +2 over center weighted meter in 720p mode. Opening soundtrack from YouTube.com
PENTAX In-Camera HDR Image Processing (K-7, Kx)

Create actual High Dynamic Range images in-camera using select PENTAX DSLRs. High contrast shots can be challenging, but with HDR mode, the camera will capture 3 quick exposures (standard, over-exposed, under-exposed). The camera will then blend the exposures for an image with tons of detail even in shadow and highlight areas.
